Two elected representatives from each class meet with the head teacher, once every month. In their role, members of the school council represent the views of their peers and are responsible for feeding back. The council discusses a wide range of issues and is involved in decision making processes in the school. For example, the school council has been involved in:
- Choosing the school caterers.
- Updating and improving the school playground.
- Choosing a termly charity the school raises money for.
We are extremely proud of the school council and their important role in ensuring that the children’s voices are heard and valued by all in our school community.
