Homework is set online each week. It is set on a Friday and is due in on a Tuesday. To access the homework, click on the appropriate year group button below. If you don’t have access to a computer, please tell your child’s class teacher.
Each week, your child is usually expected to complete a range of directed exercises:
- A task on Mathletics
- Spellings which have been taught in class. The children should learn and practise these at home in preparation for a spelling test in school
- An activity to be submitted onto J2Write (click here for instructions of how to access this using your child’s Lgfl log in)
In addition, the children should:
- Read daily (recorded in the reading record)
- Complete Times Table Rock Stars at least three times a week.
Click on the appropriate year group to access the homework for the week ending 1st April 2021.
BBC BITESIZE & OAK ACADEMY
Remember, if you would like your child to go over any topics whilst at home during the holiday, the BBC and The Oak Academy (backed by the Department for Education) offer age appropriate daily lessons for children.
BBC lessons are available on iPlayer and by using the red button on your TV. BBC Bitesize lessons can be accessed here.
The Oak Academy can be accessed here.
